So this is my first post on my brand new blog! Blogger seems a lot more colorful and fun than Wordpress. My artist is Karen Finley and i promise by Wednesday i will have a post about her! My midterm is on Monday (SO SOON!) so i guess this weekend ill be making my trip to la. Today's class lecture was brief but real and realism were the terms we talked about. Also romanticism and beauty were mentioned, when i think about real the first thing that pops into my head is reality. Real is the real world and reality of situations. I think that romanticism is apart of literature. In literature there's a lot of romantic scenes, and i say your "supposed" to fall in love and be romantic with your significant other. Beauty is a meaningful term, and has a different definition to everybody. Beauty is different in everybody's eyes and that's the beautiful part about beauty. Today's lecture barely scratched the surface of these terms but this Wednesday we are supposed to get more in depth about everything. But i think all these words all have a different interpretation to EVERYONE! Which kinda ties into the way people look at art. Everyone see's something unique and meaningful according to the individuals.
